KARACHI: The Rangers have asked the citizens of Karachi to contact the paramilitary force if they are coerced into paying Zakat and Fitra during the holy month of Ramazan.

Don't give Zakat and Fitra to banned outfits, Rangers request Karachiites

The Rangers also advised the residents of Karachi to make sure that their donations do not go to banned militant or sectarian outfits or militant wings of political parties.

Though the Karachi operation has been continuing for over three and a half years, criminal elements and banned outfits have continued forced collection of Zakat and Fitra. Last year, the Rangers had recovered a large stock of slips for the forced collection of Zakat and Fitra by militant outfits.
