K-P govt hopes to resolve gas issue

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has directed officials to expedite work on ongoing projects of gas provision and also start work in areas still deprived of gas. The governor also directed concerned officials to resolve issues of low pressure gas in Ramazan. Presiding over a high level meeting here at the Governor House on Monday, Jhagra directed Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Managing Director Amjad Latif, General Manager Peshawar Arbab Saqib and Chief Engineer Peshawar to complete the ongoing projects especially in Dara Adam Khel, FATA, Peshawar and Mardan on war footing. He said that the government wished to provide gas and other basic facilities to the people without any delay.
