Known as ili, the device instantly translates to the language of your preference. The languages it supports includes English to Spanish, Mandarin, or Japanese as well as Mandarin to English or Japanese.



"ili responds in as little as 0.2 seconds. That means no awkward staring contests while one of you waits for a translation," according to a post on their website.

Priced at $189, the important aspect of this device is that it doesn't need Wi-Fi to function, which makes it ideal for use when stuck in a foreign country.
