Samsung's upcoming phablet, Note 8, may have an even bigger screen than the current largest smartphone the company offers.

Latest rumours and leaks suggest the upcoming device may feature a 6.3 or even a 6.4 inch dual curved display that will be larger than the 6.2 inch currently offered in the Galaxy S8+.

Evidence of the larger screen size appeared in a 10-second leaked video. The video shows what appears to be a modest size increase for the front glass, backing up earlier rumours.

In comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch screen while the S8 Plus maxes out at a 6.2-inch screen. The new Note 8 would then top that by fractions of an inch.

In addition to this, the Galaxy Note 8 is also rumoured to feature a 4K resolution display to accommodate for the larger screen size and offer better VR capabilities than what are currently available on other smartphones.

The South Korean manufacturer is also reportedly working on integrating the fingerprint sensor into the screen in an attempt to address a major design flaw of the Galaxy S8.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Note 8 in September this year, but the company has a big job on its hands convincing consumers to trust the brand after the Note 7 debacle.
