On the other hand, Khanna police have booked six people for allegedly kidnapping a married woman* from the Khanna area. The case was registered on Saturday on the complaint of the woman’s husband. However, the FIR was registered over two months after the incident.

Police explained that the delay in registering the FIR was because the complainant reported the incident late.

A police investigator said that the six nominated suspects were relatives of the woman. However, he added that police have yet to find any clue to the woman’s whereabouts as yet. Moreover, he said that no arrests have been made in the case so far.
