LBA to install four transformers at civil courts

LAHORE:
Lahore Bar Association (LBA) vowed to install four transformers at district courts to control the miserable situation of electricity.

Many of the air conditioners at civil courts, LDA plaza and cooperative building were not working properly which caused stuffiness in the court rooms.

The representatives of LBA had met with district and sessions judge Abid Hussain Qureshi and had held several meetings with LESCO top officers in this regard.

The representatives said several judges had complained about the stuffiness caused due to low voltage electricity.

Finally, it was decided that four transformers will be installed at the said courts so that they could fulfill electricity shortage.

Talking to The Express Tribune, LBA secretary Farhan Mustafa Jafri said these transformers would be installed within a
few days.
