An 11-year-old girl has accused her school of committing a war crime under the terms of the Geneva Conventions after her whole class was punished because of one’s pupil bad behaviour.

Gavin Bell, the little girl’s father, tweeted an image of the feedback form her daughter had written which has thus far received 400,000 likes.

"Not sure if I should ground her or buy her ice cream," Bell wrote.

Ava Bell gave her feedback on what teachers could do to make things better at school, suggesting them "not use collective punishment as it is not fair on the many people who did nothing and under the 1949 Geova [sic] Conventions it is a war crime".

This little girl met the Pope and tried to steal his hat

Her father said Ava liked her teacher but it was with the punishment criteria in her school that she had a problem with.

"I should clarify that she thinks her teacher is awesome," Gavin said. "It's just this aspect of the educational justice system she has an issue with."

Gavin got to see the feedback form at a parents-teachers meeting and said it was characteristic of her daughter to make her point heard.

"She will never let an argument go at home!" he added.

Amazed at the little girl’s thought process, many social media users commented on the post, one of them saying: "Frightening... i am genuinely sorry for you for all those hard conversations which you will lose..."

On how his daughter knows about the war crimes and the Geneva Conventions, Gavin said she "just loves looking into things".

"She has a Google habit," he went on to say. "Usually it's along the lines of science and technology. According to Ava, her teacher thought it was quite amusing!"

Eventually, Gavin decided against punishing her daughter for the rogue feedback and bought her ice cream for courageously speaking her heart out.
