Flood Tax: 15% surcharge applicable to all, says FBR

FBR clarified the surcharge was an across-the-board levy on all categories of income tax payers.

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has said that 15 per cent surcharge on the amount of payable income tax for the period March 15 to June 30 is applicable to all income tax payers, including individuals, associations of persons (AOPs) and companies.

In a statement on Saturday, FBR clarified that the surcharge was an across-the-board levy, without exception or discrimination, on all categories of income tax payers.
