KARACHI: Federal Secretary for Ministry of Commerce Muhammad Younus Dagha visited the State Life Insurance Corporation (SLIC) of Pakistan, Principal Office, Karachi on May 22, 2017. The secretary was welcomed by SLIC Chairman Naveed Kamran Baloch, Executive Director Jamil Anwar, Executive Director Izqar Khan and Divisional Head (Marketing) Azhar Hussain. The chairman briefed the secretary about the current scenario of State Life’s business working and its future plans (specially highlighting the fields of health insurance, marketing, new business etc). Dagha appreciated the overall performance of State Life and applauded the financial strength of the corporation. Thorough and brief discussion was held during and after the presentation with the management of the State Life. Deliberations were made in detail to explore new avenues of insurance and enhance business opportunities. The federal secretary gave his vision to make new reforms; to take State Life to new levels.
