Fidget Spinner app is the most downloaded free game on iOS

Fidget spinners have become the latest sensation to grip the attention of thousands across the globe causing a surge in their demand both physically and virtually.



A new fidget spinner app called Finger Spinner has become the most downloaded free iPhone apps on Apple iTunes store.



The game, created by app developer Ketchapp, allows users to swipe the screen in order to make the most spins, replicating the physical work that makes it popular. The app tracks the average spins per minute with users having the option to purchase power-ups to get more spins with coins collected in the game.



Earlier, Pokemon Go’s app massively gained popularity due to the established popularity of its physical product that came out years ago.



Similarly, the Fidget spinner didn’t take much time to convert into an app. This is testament of how physical products can extend their popularity to virtual apps.
