Floral Arts: Campus contest at UVAS

Inter-department floral competition underway at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

By planting flowers and floral decorations, we can bring out the beauty of our land,” Dr Rukhshanda Nawaz, the Lahore College for Women University Chemistry Department chairperson, said on Friday.

Dr Nawaz was inaugurating an inter-department floral competition at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS). The main arena and the buildings were decorated with flowers. The Parasitology Department was declared the best decorated building, followed by the IPS and the Anatomy Department as second best and the Microbiology Department the third.
