Needless to say, Kaun Banega Crorepati is one game based show that has captured the audience's attention for years now. The eighth season of the Indian version of the show ended back in 2014 and since then, its fans have anxiously been waiting for their favourite show to come back on the air.

Reportedly, KBC is all set to occupy the prime time slot now as the makers of the show gear up for its ninth season. However, this time the audience will experience a major change, reported Pinkvilla. The makers of the game show are set to replace its host Amitabh Bachchan with a new female one and in this connection, both Bollywood beauties Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit have been approached.

Stop everything because Aishwarya Rai's latest photoshoot will leave you breathless!

A source from the channel informed a tabloid, "Mr Bachchan's daughter-in-law Aishwarya is among those who has been approached to take over as quiz master for season nine. But the channel is in talks with both Madhuri and Aishwarya.”

When the tabloid tried to reach out to the spokespersons of both Aishwarya and Madhuri, they refrained from commenting on the same.

If this news is indeed true, then this will be the first time in so many years of KBC that it would be hosted by a female. Interestingly, this is not the first time that Big B would step down from his position on the popular show. Shah Rukh Khan had hosted for one season before it went back to Bachchan.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, along with her daughter Aaradhya, has just headed to Cannes and will be walking the red carpet on May 19 and May 20.
