Ben Affleck is one cool soon-to-be ex-husband!

The Batman actor and Jennifer Garner officially filed for divorce around early April but according to what he said in a recent interview, Ben would love to direct his ex-wife in a film, reported Vanity Fair.

“I would love to, are you kidding me?” Ben said. “I think that would be great. I’ve often said that I want to direct a movie that Jennifer was in because I think she’s so great and she could do something really cool.” He added that he’d love to work on a female-led film and for that, only one name comes to his mind: Jennifer, of course.

Exes….working together! Talk about moving on quickly…

But Ben’s carefree attitude towards Jennifer hardly comes as a surprise, considering how Hollywood is riddled with calm and collected exes who wish each other the best. Take Chris Evans, Brad Pitt, Katy Perry and Gwyneth Paltrow for instance and that’s just naming a few.

Of course, Jennifer herself is a great ex too. Back in 2016, the 13 Going On 30 star said that Ben, from whom she had separated just some months earlier, is consistently the “most brilliant person in any room” and “the love of [her] life.”

So what’s holding Ben and Jen back from an exciting joint venture? What could possibly keep this particular and very specific dream from coming to pass? “The problem that gets in the way is that one of us has to be looking after the kids at home,”said Ben.

Add to this a host of acting, directing and producing responsibilities for both the A-list stars. Hmm…fair enough, we guess.
