Summer vacations to begin from Ramazan 1

In view of the rising temperature, the secretary of schools education, Abdul Aziz Uqaili, with the permission of Education and Literacy Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, has notified that summer vacations will begin from Ramazan 1. Earlier, it was announced that summer break will be between June 1 and July 31. According to the decision taken by the steering committee, the vacations have now been rescheduled – they will begin from the first day of Ramazan and will end on July 31. The decision was taken keeping in view the rising temperature coupled with the start of the holy month. The notification issued by the secretary states that all the public and private institutions will be closed during the announced dates and will reopen from August 1, 2017.
