Davis release: LHC seeks report on whereabouts of missing families

Court asks Punjab govt to submit report about whereabouts of Faheem and Faizan's families.

LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday ordered the Punjab government to submit a report about the whereabouts of the families of Faheem and Faizan, who were killed by a CIA contractor Raymond Davis in January.

Justice Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry heard the petition which had requested the court to take notice of the sudden disappearance of the families following the release of Raymond Davis.

The counsel for the Punjab government requested the court to grant him three weeks to submit the report. However, the court turned down this request, and ordered the lawyer to submit the report by April 12.
