Meesha Shafi: Pop And Choc, Cornetto Launches Season Two Of Pop Rock In Karachi

Pakistan's very own rockstar, Meesha Shafi is a force to be reckoned with, being the face and brains behind the most popular campaign of 2016, the only Pakistani female musician to perform live in a multi-city tour, an advocate for UN Women Pakistan’s #BeatMe campaign.

The Sun Ve Balori singer, known for her raspy voice, knows extremely well to hit the high notes, but does an equally note-worthy job when it comes to crooning some soft melodies.

The Waar star recently crooned a track for all the lovely mums out there as a tribute with many other singers, and can we just say, it's giving us all kinds of feels!

Titled, Shukriya Maa, the song will definitely leave you teary eyed, and you will surely rush to your mum for a tight hug!

7 last minute gift ideas for Mother's Day that won't leave you broke!

Sharing the song on her Facebook page, Meesha wrote a heartfelt message, "Hai Shukriya Maa. An absolutely BEAUTIFUL tribute to all mothers, who help us weave and nurture our dreams from the very early years of our lives ❤️"

She went on to write, "This was a very emotional experience for all involved, full of misty eyes (mine included) while recording this song.
A pleasure collaborating with all the wonderful, young and budding talent featured on this song along with me. LOVED singing with so many of these musicians. Especially enjoyed all the vocal textures woven into the fabric of this song, beautifully created and arranged by the great Xulfi Jabbar, who outdoes himself once again!"

"Please listen and share by clicking below. I'm sure you will want to dedicate our loving effort to the mother in your life ❤️" she concluded.
