ISLAMABAD:
The National Assembly Standing Committee on Commerce on Thursday recommended to the establishment division to regularise the services of employees of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) on the basis of transparency and merit.
The committee, which met with Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan in the chair, discussed imports, exports, local purchases and sale operations of TCP from January 1, 2010 to date.
Participants of the meeting also reviewed TCP’s balance sheet and audited accounts and asked about the new mechanisms that had been introduced by the organisation to eradicate malpractices.
