Maulana Jameel was bound to travel to Toronto on Emirates flight EK-241 with former Pakistan star all-rounder Shahid Afridi to raise funds for Shahid Afridi Foundation.

According to media reports, Afridi said security officials were directed by the airline to offload Jameel over security clearance issues.
