FCCI seeks MoU with Swiss chamber

The Pakistan-Switzerland Business Council is already working on the promotion of bilateral trade

FAISALABAD: The Consulate of Switzerland in Karachi has committed to facilitate the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in signing a MoU with the Switzerland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), said Marc P. George, the Swiss Ambassador.

In this regard, the Pakistan-Switzerland Business Council is already working on the promotion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, he added.

Addressing the business community of FCCI, Swiss envoy said that Switzerland is a landlocked country which has great potential to enhance bilateral trade in electrical engineering, chemical, pharmaceutical, tourism, banking and other sectors. He briefed that Switzerland has focused on vocational and technical education during the last many decades.
