There is a tracking device coming your way and it promises to always keep your belongings safe. Mu tag is a small, discreet electronic tag used to track belongings that matter to you.

Its small design makes it easier for you to carry around, and because it is conveniently connected to your smartphone, it is programmed to send you notifications to help you remember where exactly you left your goods.

So if you've forgotten where you kept your passport for safekeeping, Mu tag will have you covered.

Google Maps will now show you where you parked your car

Apart from Google Maps - that has the latest feature allowing you to remember where you parked your car - Mu tag gives you a more traditional tracking option.

By utilising iBeacon technology, Mu tag works even if you kill its app on your phone. This helps saving precious battery life while also being able to send you notifications.

The device has already crossed its pledged goal of $25,000 reaching a whopping $106,730 in pledges on Kickstarter. It is priced at $15 with an expected delivery date of May 2017.
