Yasir Nawaz’s Mehrunnisa We Lub You is a romantic comedy which stars Danish Taimoor, Sana Javed and Javed Sheikh. This marks the second time, the trio — Danish, Javed and Yasir — will be reuniting on the silver screen.
They have previously worked together in the 2015 film Wrong No.

SCREENGRABThe teaser starts with a poetic verses, which are continually recited throughout the minute and a half long teaser.
SCREENGRABWith unparalleled northern beauty at its best, and Danish and Sana's somewhat striking chemistry, the teaser looks pretty much like a Yash Raj movie rip-off.
SCREENGRABThe teaser also seems chock-full of fight sequences, an item number, a romantic track and a possible strained relationship between a father a son. Been there, done that. Sigh!
Honestly, Bollywood much?
SCREENGRABThe teaser seems to be very perplexing with no clearly visible theme in place. We can't quite pinpoint about what is happening in the scenes, which resemble a mashup collage of ideas that land nowhere!
We sincerely hope that the actual movie does better than its teaser.
SCREENGRABEarlier, speaking to The Express Tribune, Sana shared details about the film saying, “It’s a rom-com with a brilliant script. I actually burst out laughing while going through it.”

The movie stars Qavi Khan and Danish Nawaz as well. Mehrunnisa V Lub U is slated to release on Eidul Fitr this year.
