LAHORE: The mercury kept low as light rain continued in different parts of Lahore on Sunday.

Showers were reported at various intervals the whole day in different areas, including Township, Model Town, Gulberg, Jail Road, Ferozpur Road, Canal Bank Road, Johar Town, Wapda Town, PIA Housing Colony, Faisal Town, Raiwind Road, Samanabad, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Chouburji and Mozang.

Sun, power outages combine to roast Lahore

The Met Office said a westerly wave of moderate intensity is prevailing over Pakistan and is likely to persist in the upper parts of the county till Monday [today].

Weather forecast for the next 12 hours shows dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected in scattered places in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan as well as isolated areas in Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi and Naseerabad divisions. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
