Doodle competition: Pindi art student scribbles to the top

Nadeem will now go on to represent Pakistan at the Red Bull Doodle Art Global Final, an international competition

A student from the Rawalpindi campus of National College of Arts (NCA) student has bagged the first prize in the National Red Bull Doodle Art competition.

Over 800 entries were submitted for the third edition of the competition with creative minds from all corners of the country sending in their doodle art.

Of these, 10 entries were shortlisted based on the number of votes they received.  On April 21, judges Samiya Arif, SM Raza and Saad Irfan reviewed the shortlisted entries. After hours of debate, artwork submitted NCA Rawalpindi’s Umer Nadeem was selected as the winner.

Nadeem will now go on to represent Pakistan at the Red Bull Doodle Art Global Final, an international competition.
