Five students rounded up for chanting 'Go Nawaz Go'

LAHORE: At least five students were arrested for chanting slogans against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday at an event where Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique delivered a speech.

While the railway minister was addressing the audience at the Pakistan Railways’ annual sports event, the students who were present in the crowd started chanting “Go Nawaz Go”.

Police took the students into custody after the minister left the stadium.

Later, the prime minister taking notice of the incident ordered the release of the students.
