International supermodel Gigi Hadid’s upcoming trip to India is something everyone is well aware about. Now, Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s sister Rhea will apparently be hosting a dinner in her honour, reports Yahoo!
Gigi and Sonam will head for an event where the former will be launching her collection in Mumbai, on the day of her arrival. After the event, she will head out with Sonam, Rhea and their cousin Arjun for an exclusive dinner at a SoBo hotel around evening time.
A source revealed, “It will be a sit-down dinner of 40 people which Rhea’s father Anil will attend as will Gigi’s mother Yolanda. Apart from them, only young celebs from all walks of life will be invited. The invite list is very selective and Gigi will be introduced to the young glitterati of India at the dinner, where Sonam is also expected to join her.”
Sonam, who is currently in Maheshwar for the shoot of Padman, will be flying down especially for the event.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun recently wrapped up Mubarakan. The movie, which was being shot in London, is directed by Anees Bazmee and also stars Anil, Athiya Shetty and Neha Sharma in the lead. Arjun also has Half Girlfriend up for a release next month. The movie is directed by Mohit Suri and also stars Shraddha Kapoor.
Sonam, on the other hand, is currently shooting for R Balki’s Padman with Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte. She also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic up her sleeve. In the film, Sonam plays Ranbir Kapoor’s love interest. The movie is slated to hit the screens on Christmas 2017, along with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger Zinda Hai.
Sonam also has Veere Di Wedding in her kitty, which is directed by Shashanka Ghosh, produced by her sister Rhea and also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. Filming for Veere Di Wedding is expected to begin next month.
