When Salman Khan stopped a press conference to show respect for Azaan

The video resurfaced in the wake of Sonu Nigam's controversial remarks

Veteran Bollywood singer, Sonu Nigam made headlines this week when he expressed his displeasure on being ‘forced’ to wake up because of the Azaan every morning.

While Sonu tried to clarify his stance on the controversy by calling a press conference and even getting his head shaved, his rant was taken in bad taste.



Soon after Sonu's statements, actor-turned-producer Pooja Bhatt took to Twitter to school Sonu in a very subtle fashion.

Now, we recently came across a throwback video of Salman Khan at the premiere of his reality show Bigg Boss season 8, where he stopped the ongoing conference in respect of Azaan which had just started.

In a video shared by Indian publication, Bollywood Now, the Sultan actor can be seen asking the fellow speaker to hush for the call for Namaaz.
