GILGIT:

A woman, who found three gold teeth from the pocket of a coat she had purchased from a bazaar a couple of weeks ago, has traded the teeth for Rs150,000.

“I found three teeth made of gold while I was searching the pockets of the coat,” said Erfan Kanwal, a mother of four.

Kanwal trades in clothing items, buys them from various markets across the country and sells them at cheap rates to earn a living.

“I go to Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and Lahore with my husband and purchase clothes and other items of daily use,” she said.

Kanwal said that after having the teeth weighed by a jeweller, she sold them for Rs150,000 which is the maximum amount anyone had offered her.

She said the money is a gift from God as she needed funds to rebuild her house. “I have always wanted to have my own house and so I have been saving up for the past several years,” she said.

Aamir | 13 years ago | Reply the coat she buys must be from some landa bazaar . & we all know that there are used foreign clothes there ... its practically impossible for her to find the real owner .. & she herself is so poor .. so i think she can use it .. God has mysterious ways of gifting . :))))
