BEIJING: Another 26 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed between the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government and Chinese companies on the final day of the two-day K-P Economic Cooperation Road Show in Beijing on Tuesday.

Senior provincial government officials and representatives of Chinese companies agreed to deepen cooperation in infrastructure, power, industry, information technology, transport, education, urban development, agriculture, livestock and tourism sectors. K-P Chief Minister Pervez Khattak met with representatives of various Chinese companies during which he thanked them for taking keen interest in the development of the province.

Khattak said the K-P government had introduced investment-friendly policies to facilitate business personnel and traders in making investments. A day ago, the provincial government signed 11 MoUs with Chinese firms for completion of various development projects taking place in K-P under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework.
