Discussing development: Lord Nazeer meets Shehbaz Sharif

Nazeer says Shehbaz is serving the people of his province diligently.

LAHORE: British lawmaker Lord Nazeer Ahmed called on Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday to discuss matters of mutual interest and development programmes for the people of Punjab. Nazeer said that Shehbaz was serving the people of his province diligently and the credit of implementing merit and transparency in development projects goes to him. The initiatives to eradicate corruption are being appraised at international level as well, he added. Nazeer said the establishment of Overseas Pakistanis Commission for solving the problems of Pakistanis living abroad was a commendable step of the Punjab government. Shehbaz, meanwhile, said progress and public service was pushing ahead effectively and was setting new records under the PML-N government. “We are committed to dragging the nation out of its issues,” he said.
