‘National Book Fair 2017’: Three-day fair from next week
Over 100 booksellers and publishers are expected to set up stalls
ISLAMABAD:
Dubbed as the country’s biggest book fair, the National Book Fair 2017 is slated to commence from April 22 in Islamabad.
The eighth edition of the fair, organised by the National Book Foundation (NBF) under the supervision of National History and Literary Heritage (NHLH) Division, will coincide with National Book Day. The mega fair will take place at the Pak-China Friendship Centre. The theme for this year’s festival is “Kitab, Zindagi, Umeeed, Roshni’.
Renowned literary figures, book ambassadors, fans, students and scholars are expected to participate in the fair. Over 100 booksellers and publishers are expected to set up stalls, with books on various disciplines showcased.
