A former employee of the company accused Suparn Pandey of sexual misconduct, saying he would touch her inappropriately and send her sexually explicit videos.
Although she had also filed a complaint with the company administration, her pleas went unheeded, she said in the FIR which was lodged at the Vasant Kunj police station in New Delhi.

A senior police official, Chinmoy Biswal, confirmed the registration of the FIR and said investigations are underway but no arrests have been made as yet.
In a statement, ScoopWhoop said the company’s internal committee has started an inquiry into the matter after they received it as per the law. "As an FIR has also been filed separately by the complainant, and the police investigation is ongoing, we are extending full cooperation to the police to conduct a full and fair investigation into the matter," the company said.

Two other co-founders of the news and entertainment website are also named in the FIR lodged by the victim on March 27.
Police have asked Pandey to join the investigation and cooperate with the authorities.
