If you are a pet lover, then you could understand at times how difficult it is to leave your pet at home when you are going on vacation.

Pebby has introduced a smart robotic pet babysitting system that makes sure Pebby makes sure your pets are never alone at home. The system is a combination of a smart collar and Wi-Fi controlled ‘ball’ that follows pets around and let owner track, monitor and play with their pet from anywhere in the world.

The system uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology to enable users to keep an eye on their pets and give them company even when they’re not there via smartphone. Pebby ball features a 720p wide-angle fisheye lens, giving users an optimal view of everything that their pets do in their absence. Controlled via the Pebby companion app, the ball has three lithium-ion batteries enough to keep the ball rolling for 1.5 hours. The app also allows users to share all images and videos on social media.

Pebby also has an Auto-Play mode, so if you are busy with work you need not worry as Pebby would keep your pet occupied. It also features a pet (and human) safe built in laser to make your feline friends go nuts.

The ball comes with a smart collar that tracks a pet’s activities and sends insights about behaviour and health to the owner via the app. The battery life of the collar ranges from 8 to 12 days, and the activity monitor can be charged with a USB connection or by placing it onto the included charging dock.

The built-in powerful LED headlights make it possible for users to navigate Pebby even in dark or dimly lit rooms.

The Pebby system comes with a wireless charging dock and a backup USB charging port, as well as featuring auto-follow and auto-repel capabilities.

The company was able to raise over $500,000 in crowd funding campaign on KickStarter against their target of $50,000.
