Leaked: Is this the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8?
Hopefully, this one doesn't have exploding batteries

The Galaxy Note 8, a follow up device for the ill-fated Note 7 isn’t expected to be released until the end of 2017; however, a latest 'leak' may actually give us an early look at the device.

Posted in Slashleaks, the picture show a device quite similar to the Galaxy S8+ along with Samsung’s S Pen. The picture does not provide any product details and source, which casts doubt on its legitimacy.
PHOTO: SLASHLEAKSThe device in the picture does feature more square dimensions at the edges, something we saw on the Note 7. However, without getting a good look at the bottom of the device to check if there's a slot for the Pen, there's no way to know if it's actually a Note prototype.

It is worth noting that the device in the picture does fall in line with earlier leaks that showed a similar device.
The new Note smartphone is expected to come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, making it just a bit bigger than the 6.2-inch S8+, along with a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 9000-series processor, 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of built-in storage.
