Search Operation: Six suspects detained

ISLAMABAD: As many as six suspects were detained in Koral during a search operation on Saturday. Following directions from Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, officers of the Islamabad Police, Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in different parts of Koral, including Gora Masst, Bagh Jogian and its adjacent areas, a police spokesperson said. Police commandos, including women police and staff of the Bomb Disposal squad, also participated in the operation. They checked 180 houses, searched 300 people living there. As many as six suspects, including four people who had been wanted in a number of crimes, were detained. The security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition, from them.  Further investigation is underway from them. Islamabad Police SSP Sajid Kiani has urged citizens to remain vigilant and inform the police in case they witness any suspicious activity around them.
