ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police and Rangers detained as many as 10 suspects during a search operation and shifted them to the police station for questioning. During the operation, conducted in the Shams Colony and its surrounding areas on Friday morning, a total of 230 houses and 380 individuals were searched. The operation began at 6am and lasted for over three hours. Police, Rangers and other security agencies took part in the operation. The police said they had seized three rifles and five pistols during the search operation. However, all of the weapons recovered were licenced. The weapons were handed over to Shams Colony police for verification of documents.
