Mutual Cooperation: PU signs pact with Chinese varsity

The varsity will provide opportunities to ICET students with all the expenses of boarding and lodging

LAHORE: Punjab University’s Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (ICET) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, China. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at the Vice-Chancellor’s office, where PU VC Prof Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir, PU ICET Director Prof Dr Amir Ejaz, Registrar Dr Muhammad Khalid and Shenyang University Dean Prof Weiru Chen were present. Later, the Shenyang University delegation visited ICET and its laboratories, where they met students and teachers of the institute. Shenyang University of Chemical Technology has agreed to provide 20 internships to 6th semester students of ICET. The varsity will provide opportunities to ICET students with all the expenses of boarding and lodging covered for a six-week internship every year.
