Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

You’re facing all sorts of obstacles and want a magic formation for getting around these. There is one. Bizarrely, it’s doing what needs to be done, step by step. True, this isn’t what you had in mind. Still, you’ll soon realise how much you’re learning and the amazing progress you’re making.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

While Mercury’s retrograde cycle doesn’t actually begin until the 9th, because it’s positioned in Taurus, you may already be experiencing some of the confusion this period is known for. Unsettling, if not irritating, as those errors seem to be when they first arise, they’ll be informative and, often, astonishingly enlightening.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

It’s happened before and, judging by the current unsettled planetary activity, it will be a regular part of your life over the coming weeks. And that is, when you ask questions of others, they’ll be vague, if not defensive. The real problem is, they’re short of facts but are unwilling to acknowledge it.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

Although the Full Moon isn’t until next Tuesday, you may already feel under pressure to make pivotal decisions about domestic or professional matters. Discuss this with others, asking their views but avoid commitments. Before anything’s settled, the actual circumstances in question and your priorities will shift, and probably more than once.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

You could probably keep existing plans going and get involved in new ideas or ventures as well. It’s just you’d be over-stretching yourself. You simply don’t have the time. However, the real problem is your ego. You hate admitting there’s anything you can’t do. But, in this case, it’s best.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

While you’d have every right to be annoyed, if not upset, with the carelessness of others in dealing with certain matters, for now, say nothing. It’s a tricky week for everybody, and they may have been battling problems you were unaware of. When you discuss these issues, do so with an open mind.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

It’s rare that anybody angers you so much you need to have the last word. But not only has that been the case, you said far more than you meant to. Worrying as that’s been, it would appear a few sharp comments are exactly what the individual in question needed to hear.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Although every sign is influenced by Mercury’s retrograde cycle, which begins Sunday, because it accents close alliances, personal and out in the world, the resulting minor issues could lead to discussions of major significance. The more willing you are to go into matters in depth, the more you’ll benefit.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

Don’t brush off seemingly minor differences with others. Judging by the powerful link between the Sun and your ruler Jupiter, those apparently unimportant discussions could lead to an unexpected, and worthwhile, exchange of ideas. Some will merely be interesting but others could result in opportunities as exciting as they are surprising.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

While, obviously, you’d rather define, discuss and deal with certain tricky issues now, that’s unlikely. On the contrary, judging by the coming weeks’ planetary activity, which indicates there are several twists and turns yet to come, you’re urged to recognise there’ll be no single solution but, rather, a series of them.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

The influence of the retrograde Venus is about alliances and, through its rulership of Taurus, finances of every variety, especially past issues. And with it moving to accent exactly such matters, problems you’ve either been unable to resolve or have, quite simply, forgotten, will surface suddenly and need immediate attention.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

When you first gave a hand to one particular individual, they were struggling and you knew what to do. But now they expect your advice, if not that you’ll actually deal with tricky issues for them, and regularly. Difficult as drawing a line is, the sooner you do it, the better.
