The report stated that 425 Pakistanis have been detained in Malaysia, 145 in Afghanistan and another 200 have been confined in Thailand. Heading the bench, Justice Javed Iqbal said it is the government's responsibility to take care of Pakistanis in foreign countries.
Meanwhile, Additional Attorney General KK Agha informed the court regarding the recently formed ‘Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances’ which is working for the recovery of the missing persons.
The next hearing has been adjourned till May 20, when the Interior secretary, Finance secretary, and secretary of Foreign Affairs have been directed to appear in Court.
