Eight members of Jamaatul Ahrar (JA) surrendered to the security forces in Mohmand Agency Monday night, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
Jamaatul Ahrar, a splinter group of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed responsibility for the recent suicide bombing in Parachinar, which came less than two months after a bomb ripped through the main vegetable market in the same city on January 21.

According to the army's media wing, those who laid down their weapons include Akbar, Gul, Siraj and five of their accomplices.
