Afridi, Younis unveil 2017 Champions Trophy at Edhi Centre
The award for the upcoming tournament's winners is currently on tour of Karachi
The 2017 ICC Champions Trophy made the rounds in Karachi on Thursday, with cricket legends Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan getting to spend some quality time with it.
The trophy, which would go to the winner of this summer's tournament, is currently on tour of Karachi where it was unveiled by Afridi and Younis at the Edhi Centre, and the University of Karachi is expected to be next on its visit list.
"An honour to unveil the ICC champions trophy at the iconic Edhi center; met the iron strong kids and offered Fateha," wrote Afridi on his official Facebook account where he also posted the photos.
While the trophy's ongoing trip to Pakistan is only a brief one, the country's Sarfraz Ahmed-led ODI squad will be hoping to bring it home permanently by winning the tournament, which will be held between June 1 and June 18 in England and Wales.
India are the reigning champions, having won the 2013 final at England's expense.
