It was no surprise that Pakistan coach Waqar Younis sounded upbeat after the crushing win against West Indies.

The former captain has now set his sights on the semi-final and with Pakistan expected to face either India or Australia, Younis said his team was ready for the challenge.

“If it’s against India then it’s the one to watch out for,” said Younis. “We haven’t won against them in a World Cup yet but we also ended Australia’s winning run. And playing in Mohali, which would be their home turf, is not a problem either. We beat Sri Lanka on their own turf earlier too.”
