Five decomposed bodies, including two stuffed in sacks, were found from the bank of Indus River.
According to Saddar police, residents of Dhoke Khosha and Bagh Neelab had discovered five corpses lying on the riverbank. Acting on the information, police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the hospital for postmortem and identification.
At the hospital, only one victim, 15-year-old Hamza Majid Khan, could be identified. According to police, he was a resident of Nowshera had been reported as missing by his parents two months ago.
The body of the youngster was handed over to his parents after legal formalities.
However, the identity of the remaining four dead bodies could not be ascertained as the bodies had been decomposed.
Police have yet to receive post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
