Facilitating lawmen: Day-care centres will also be set up for female judges

Justice Shah says attention needs to be diverted towards swift disposal of pending cases

RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court will be setting up day-care-centres at the district courts to facilitate female judges.

This was shared by Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mansoor Ali Shah on Monday while addressing judges of the district judiciary at the judicial complex in Rawalpindi.

He added that the high court would soon start providing official vehicles to all civil judges in Punjab, giving priority to female judges in the allotment.

In his address, Justice Shah said that different measures were being carried out to further strengthen the district judiciary for speedy dispensation of pending cases.

Noting that salaries of district judges were satisfactory, the Justice Shah said that attention needs to be diverted towards swift disposal of pending cases.

He has adopted a zero tolerance policy towards corruption in the judiciary at all levels, he said.
