Balakot police said that a school teacher working as census staff, an army sepoy and a police constable were travelling to a far off village near Garhi Habibullah.
Near Jabri Kaleesh village, the jeep’s driver lost control while negotiating a blind turn and the vehicle overturned. As a result, teacher Munsif, constable Nawaz, Army’s Naik Muhammad Akram and driver Riaz sustained injuries.
They were rushed to Balakot where Naik Akram was referred to the CMH in Abbottabad while the others were shifted to the Ayub Teaching Hospital.
This was the second accident suffered by census staff in the region after the head counting exercise started earlier this month.
