New service: PU installs UAN at examination department

PU Vice-Chancellor says candidates could dial 042-111-00-1882 for guidance.

LAHORE: A telephone exchange system was inaugurated at the Punjab University’s (PU) examinations department on Friday.

PU Vice-Chancellor Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir while inaugurating the system said candidates who wanted to inquire about questions related to examinations, degrees, admissions, registrar and treasurer’s office were facing difficulties could dial 042-111-00-1882 for guidance.

He added the telephone exchange was also linked with registrar and treasurer office and relevant calls would be transferred to both the offices.

The varsity had launched this facilitation centre in which hundred calls would be entertained at one time, he said, adding that in future more steps would be taken to facilitate the students.
