Annual Report 2016: CDA Hospital served over 0.7m patients 

According to a report, the hospital provided treatment to 383,235 outdoor patients during 2016

ISLAMABAD: The CDA Hospital treated 768,945 patients during 2016. This includes both CDA employees as well as outdoor patients. The numbers were revealed by the CDA Hospital in its yearly performance report. According to the report, the hospital provided treatment to 383,235 outdoor patients during the previous year. Additionally, 12,169 indoor ward admissions took place. Furthermore, 323,160 patients were provided pathology laboratory examinations, besides 3,562 procedures in the operation theatre. The hospital also provided general radiology service to 21,682 patients and imaging radiology services to 2,509 patients. According to the report, the cardiology department treated 25,091 patients. These patients include 23,790 entitled and 1,501 non-entitled patients while an average of 2,108 patients were provided treatment every day. The report added that 63,998 causality patients were also treated at the hospital during 2016, among which 43,642 patients were entitled and 2,053 were non-entitled patients.
