Multan consumers get 29,000 gas connections
General Manager says new domestic connections constitute 64% of target set for current fiscal year 2016-17.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Multan General Manager Amjad Mumtaz said on Thursday that 29,000 new domestic connections were given to consumers, constituting 64% of target set for current fiscal year 2016-17.
He said the SNGPL had set a target of 45,000 new gas connections in Multan region and showed good progress by achieving it by 64.4% in the first eight months, despite shortage of gas meters.
