PTDC stresses on aggressive measures

Investment in tourism will not only bring development in the district but will also help alleviate poverty

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Abdul Ghafoor Khan said that the Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry should take aggressive measures to attract investment in the tourism sector, which is the most foreign exchange earning industry. Speaking during a detailed meeting with the chamber chairman, Qazi M Akbar and President Khurram Kamran he said that investment in tourism will not only bring development in the district but will also help alleviate poverty and improve living standards of the general public. Combined efforts of the federal and local governments with private sector can bring fruitful results.
