Internet of things: Australia launches schools’ video competition

ISLAMABAD: The Australian Trade and Investment Commission has invited schools from across Pakistan to participate in a national schools’ video competition.

The winners stand to win a study trip to a leading Australian university.

As part of the competition, students from across the country have been invited to submit short films on the theme of “Internet of Things (IOT)”, a statement released by the Australian High Commission said on Tuesday.

The competition aims to broaden the horizons of and expose them to new study options, particularly in fields which link to careers of the future.

Each school can nominate a team of two students and one teacher. The winning team will have the opportunity to visit the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS).

The Australian Trade and Investment Commission would travel and accommodation costs. The deadline for submitting the videos is June 30.
