Islamabad general hospital: Health facility likely to open in 2019

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad General Hospital project worth Rs2.5 billion covering over 13.07 acres at Tramari Chowk, Tralai is likely to be completed by June 2019. According to official sources of Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), the project is being funded by the Saudi Funds for Development (SFD) through grant assistance of 75 million Saudi Riyals (Rs2.00 billion). They said that an amount of Rs100.00 million has been allocated during the current fiscal year for the project. They said that Pakistan Public Works Department has started construction of boundary wall of the hospital. An amount of Rs18 billion has been allocated for completion of various development projects in PIMS. Feasibility report has been prepared and the said amount will be released soon in order to improve the health facilities at PIMS, sources added.
